While I played with it here and there, the Twitter widget we’d been using simply wasn’t working, and so I took it down for the time being. Dean J. Robinson, the creator of Redoable (the theme currently powering mendax.org) recently stated that a new version of the theme would be out by year’s end to support the latest version of WordPress. Since we recently upgraded to said WordPress version, the tagging system we were using also broke (as tagging is now native to WordPress).
Hopefully when Redoable 2.0 comes out, both our Twitter status and the tag display (and maybe even the category cloud widget) will all be working again. In the meantime, at least the core of the site (content!) is fully functional.
